Brothers Chemicals® Ghost-Off is a professional fleet prep wash designed to clean oxidized, contaminated, and weathered surfaces before vinyl graphics, film, or paint are applied. This product is used by wrap installers, fleet detailers, and sign professionals preparing box trucks, semi trailers, work vans, emergency vehicles, trailers, and other commercial graphic surfaces.
This formula is built to strip chalky oxidation, tar, bug residue, grease, grime, exhaust residue, and surface contamination that standard soaps may leave behind. Instead of removing vinyl or adhesive, Ghost-Off prepares the exposed substrate after graphics are removed or before new graphics are installed. By deep cleaning the surface and increasing surface energy, it helps create a cleaner, more receptive surface so vinyl can bond properly and reduce the risk of early graphic failure.
Ghost-Off contains no acids and no caustics and is listed for use on paint, metal, fiberglass, and glass. It is especially useful for fleet rebranding, wrap preparation, trailer graphics, box truck cleaning, and surface prep where oxidation or contamination could interfere with vinyl adhesion. For best results, wet the surface with clean water, spray Ghost-Off onto the affected area, allow it to dwell for about one minute, agitate with a soft truck brush or sponge, and rinse clean with water. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface, and avoid use on hot panels or in direct sunlight.
