Nekoosa Barrier Film SPMBF 2.3-mil — 54" x 50yd is a 100% opaque, UV-printable blockout film for making two-sided window graphics. The face is a gloss, top-coated white polypropylene with a metallized back, so a graphic printed on each side stays crisp with no show-through.
For a two-way window decal, reverse-print your first graphic on a clear static cling such as Hi-Stat® or a clear pressure-sensitive film such as Sign-Ad® or Clear-Ad®, laminate the barrier film to the printed side, then print the second graphic on the white barrier face. Because the barrier film supplies the opacity, you need fewer ink layers (no flood-white passes) to get a solid, bright image.
Beyond two-way window decals, it also works well for push-pull graphics, posters, mouse pads and general decals. It is rated for indoor use up to 3 years and can be used outdoors short-term, with good water resistance and good resistance to most petroleum-based solvents (edge-seal in high-solvent areas).
